In Uttar Pradesh if farmers want to access agricultural services, government schemes, and subsidies, it is essential for them to complete their registration. To create a verified database, the UP agricultural department has introduced an online registration system. Completing registration is really important and crucial, as even small mistakes can delay approvals or prevent farmers from receiving benefits.

To avoid any mistakes follow the below mentioned steps clearly

Step 1: Visit the Official Agricultural Portal

The very first step is to visit the official UP agricultural portal. Farmers can complete their registration using a laptop or mobile phone. If they are not comfortable using the online method, they can visit the nearest Common Service Centers (CSC) for assistance. Before registering, farmers must keep their documents ready to avoid any interruption during the process.

Step 2: Keep Documents Ready

To have a smooth registration, farmers must be ready with all the required documents. These typically include an Aadhar card, mobile number, bank account details, and land records. To verify whether a person is an actual farmer, land ownership documents are required.

Many farmers who are planning to buy agricultural machinery, including a 7 HP power weeder, must complete their registration first. Machines from brands like Mechnova Machines are commonly used by farmers to reduce manual labor and improve field efficiency.

Step: 3 Enter personal details carefully

During the registration process, farmers must carefully fill all of their personal details correctly such as name, address, mobile number, and aadhar number. They should be filled exactly as they appear in the official documents. Even small spelling mistakes in name or incorrect aadhar card number can lead to rejection of application. Before submitting, all the details should be checked properly.

Step 4: Add Land and Crop Information

The portal will require farmers to enter details about their farmland. This includes information such as land area, village name, and crop information. To be eligible for government schemes related to seeds, fertilizers, and machinery, farmers must enter correct land records.

Step 5: Verify mobile number and submit

Farmers must verify their mobile number through a one-time password (OTP) after filling out all the required details. These steps help in confirming the authenticity of the application. Once this step is complete, they can submit their application, and after that a unique farmer ID will be created, which they can use to track their status online.

Step 6: Check Application Status

After the application has been submitted, farmers should regularly check the status of their application on the portal. The system may ask for any corrections if there are any mistakes or errors. Promptly updating the information helps speed up the approval process.

Common Mistakes Farmers Should Avoid While Filling Out the Form

  • Entering an incorrect Aadhaar number during registration
  • Providing mismatched bank account details
  • Uploading unclear or incorrect documents
  • Not linking Aadhaar with bank account for DBT benefits
  • Bank account being inactive or incorrect
  • Incorrect personal or land details in the form

Conclusion

To access government benefits and schemes in UP, farmer registration is important. By following the proper steps, keeping documents ready, and carefully verifying all details, farmers can complete the registration without mistakes. Once registered, farmers can apply for subsidies and support.
